Hi all
Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to remove a broken gear cable from inside a Claris shifter?
Thanks

Same as removing an intact one except you sometimes need a thin piece of steel to push out the nipple.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

You probably need to move the shifter into the high or low gear position to get good access

Thanks for the replies. It turns out that the nippier part had somehow fallen onto the bottom side of the shifter. Handed it into a local bike shop in the end. Fixed for €22. Annoying that I couldn't do it myself
