I ordered a new Canyon Endurace disc back in March. It had an anticipated delivery date of the 25th May, I was nervous that this might slip after all the trouble that they had last year. However, it was delivered yesterday, two weeks ahead of schedule! Happy days!

Amazing how easy it is to be satisfied when the expectations are set so low. Still took them a month to get a bicycle to you :)

the fact that Canyon delivering a bike warranted a "well done" thread says it all :d

Praise where praise is due. Wiggle took 10 days to get a set of brake calipers 70 miles down the road. Now that's rubbish.

I'd have a Canyon - brilliant bikes at an excellent price. I'd be more than happy to wait a few weeks for one rather than buy some second hand thing without any known provenance. End up with a better, more modern, less crashed and used new bike.

    Obvs, innit.

The internet, where only the bad can be mentioned.

2 weeks early isn't shabby if they had a different date, now that would change if this is now what happens on every delivery.

    Enjoy your bike OP

I ordered a Canyon bike on Tues 9th May 2017, estimated delivery 2-3 weeks. The bike arrived Tues 16th May 2017 !!! The bike is superb and so was the service from Canyon, can't fault them at all.
I'm guessing that the best way to approach it is 1) go for a bike they say is from stock 2) don't expect any changes at all from the exact spec, that's one of the reasons they are cheaper, if you want to change anything do it yourself when you've got the bike. If that doesn't suit use a bike shop you can't have it both ways.
  • I ordered a frame from a bike shop in Bristol in 1990, it still hasn't arrived.
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

It's Bristol, you'll need to send a pigeon.
