Crack or normal?!?!

Hey, I just noticed this on both of my rims as I was cleaning it from a earlier ride, is this normal or is it a crack? I'm concerned.. I bought the bike last year and just started riding it a week ago.. I'm hoping it's normal because it it's a crack I'll be pissed :evil: btw the line goes all around the rim on both rims

    Absolutely. They are the join when the rims were manufactured. Cracks tend to be more 'jagged' and have sharp ends.

    Yeah its the join. Nothing to worry about at all.

    The join is usually directly opposite the valve so the weight of the join balances out the weight of the valve (to some degree).
