Hi all, just brought myself a cannondale cx 105 with some slick 25mm tyres on and loving it. Im a runner who keeps getting injured as the body has got older (44) so switched to cycling. All ready cycle to work most days on a single speed mountain bike so having a bike with gears is great. looking to increase milage gradually and enjoy some long weekend blasts.
my question is would you recommend joining a club? and if so, can anyone recommend any in leicester.

Yes, I would recommend joining a club if only to find somebody who might have some of the knowledge you need in your next few months.

Hi dude, great to hear from you.

Speak to Russ the head honcho at Lutterworth Cycles - really good shop, really helpful great staff and stock. Run their own team so will have all the contacts you need.

A club is great! Even if it's just a Sunday afternoon run with a few mates and a pint afterwards, it'll be a great time out and will help your group riding skills and sense of enjoyment!

Good luck with the bike and welcome to the sport!
