I just ordered a set of Zonda 2-way fit because I want to have a go with tubeless. Does anyone know if they usually come with valves? If not, do I need to get Campy specific valves or are there generic ones that I can use to go tubeless?

Cheers,
Larry

Mine came with valves, bought from wiggle if this makes any difference.

Nice wheels every tyre I have tried tubeless has gone up with a few puffs of a track pump.

Any valves should do though - but wheels often come with them.

I got them ordered from probikekit.com yesterday, hopefully they will ship out today. Price was $504CAD including shipping to Canada from the UK. Duties and taxes extra.

This was my first order from them and I just noticed that there is a referral system that they use for further discounts. If you see what you like there, we can both benefit: https://www.probikekit.ca/referrals.lis ... RRY-R9P&li

Thanks I've already shopped with them and would prefer to buy elsewhere to be honest based on less than perfect past experiences with them.
    Hope your purchase goes smoothly.

Yikes, I usually check reviews first. Seems the reviews are not very consistent with this vendor. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that it goes well.

I tried converting a fulcrum racing zero 2 way and got tubeless faff. The customer did not have the valves, stans valves leaked as the valve hole is too big. Tubeless tape had to be used to get a good seal. The tyres did not lock into the rim so sealing was difficult. An air charge failed to inflate them. Co2 had to be used but this affects the sealant. More had to be added but then the tyre moves away from the rim. Eventually I got them inflated but really they could be more tubeless ready than they are. I hope the zonda's are different.

Don't know about the Fulcrum wheels, but I have successfully mounted with a track pump both 25c Schwalbe Pro Ones and 30c Schwalbe G One Speeds on my Zonda two way fits.

The supplied valves had an oblong base mounted along the axis of the channel. No rim strip or taping needed to get a seal.

When I deflate the tyres to put sealant in,the tyre remains seated indicating a true tubeless profile to the rim.

Well, I got my Schwalbe Pro Ones 25c today. Still waiting on the Zonda's but hopefully get them in about a week. Meanwhile, can anyone confirm which sealant is the best one to use with the Schwalbe / Campy setup? I know, these 'best' questions can open a can of worms ... but it would be nice to have a few opinions before I go at it for the first time.

I started with Stans sealant but found it had problems sealing at high road pressures, especially if the hole through was a bit larger than usual.

Orange endurance sealant has worked perfectly, even sealing a hole that was constantly opening up again when I was using Stans.

effetto maraposo is another good sealant. Zefal works well too.
