Removing PF BB from Crank and use BB30 instead of PF30?

I have a FSA MTB BB30 crank, press fit. On a ride recently somehow the left hand BB cup pulled into the frame (seemed the plastic flange came off meaning the crank then flopped around on the drive side and pulled the BB into the frame.
The drive side cup is still on the crank and the crank has been removed from the bike, and the cup is possibly not 100% straight on the crank axle. So now I have a removed crank with a stuck PF BB still on it.
Any ideas how to get it off so I can refit the crank with a new BB?
Second question, I have a FSA road BB30 BB that will fit in the bike, is there any reason why I can't use that or do I need to buy a PF30 MTB BB?
Thanks

while pf30 and bb30 use exactly the same bearings in a bb30 they press straight into the frame, pf30 is already pressed into a plactic/metal cup which is pressed into the frame - as a result the diameter of the holes in the frames are different by 4mm0
