Morning, I'm on my way to Corby soon, working there for a few weeks, the bike is already in the hire car, I suppose I had better take some ppe and tools :)

    Happy Monday chaps,
Short week for me as I have Friday off this week. Had to drive in this morning as I need to go and see a man about a dog at lunchtime. Nice and quiet in here at the moment and just trawling through my emails, unfortunately my colleagues will start arriving soon.

Just having brekkie then its off to solicitors, undertakers, supermarket etc to make final preps for funeral and wake tomorrow. Visiting my old dear this afternoon and then a mate arrives up here from London so will go for a beer to chill a bit.

Sometimes life is just fuck1ng sh*t, so you just go out and pedal. It's a bit like getting drunk. Whilst you're doing it, you forget about everything.

    Laters.

Afternoon, debating whether I should spend the good weather after work running up a mountain or riding the mtb at Ae to steal KOMs. I usually dislike running, but I feel like I should make the most of my enthusiasm and do it, I know I'll ride my mtb in any weather. Got a long road ride planned on Friday so I the earlier this week I go running the better

You have to work to give the fun some contrast. Unless of course, you have access to acid, Cocaine and Hookers.

It's work on your own terms which this lot of mortgage, HP laden, credit card bouncer cretins don't quite get.

Bastard of a headwind this morning, tore the tarmac off the road on the way home though. Got that windy eye thing again.

Cat's had her unmentionables seen to. Hopefully the vet sorted out her wiring at the same time.

    busy day, new minion started.

Still debating to take up the carpet for the new fitted wardrobes or just to have them put it on top of the current. Taking it up looks an effort mind.

Ps for the car crowd, when having some parts repainted, worth making sure the shop using a slow bake oven over a normal respray?

Oven finish is harder, more durable and will probably match the original finish better as all cars are 'baked'.
