    The 'qualifying process' is clearly stated at http://www.sport.be/ucigranfondoworldse ... gulations/ It's hard to see how following the regulations as published is making a mockery of them.

    You might not like the regulations, but it naturally flows from setting a bar at 25% of starters. It's not a performance bar because it is totally dependent on the makeup of the field, and in the UK especially, how many 'sportive' type riders turn up to bolster numbers. I imagine the riders finishing between 25 and 35% at the Charly Gaul are more qualified than the 20-25% at the Tour of Cambridgeshire. So it's a mockery due to international equality...
