ProForm 5.0 TdF trainer

Does anyone have any knowledge of these trainers, please? I am currently looking to buy one of these for our gym at work (oil rig). They look great but there may not be a reliable internet connection where it will be used. I appreciate that many of the facilities rely on an internet connection and apps etc but can it still provide a decent level of "simulation" using the pre-loaded programmes. One of the big selling points is that it has several sections of the TdF pre-loaded so I especially need to know if these will work without internet (i.e. will it display the road, scenery etc on the integral screen and vary the gradient). I cannot get a definitive answer from any of the online "chat-line" advisors so hoping someone on here can advise.
