Ultegra 10sp cranks - 11sp

Is anyone using Ultegra 6700 10speed cranks with the rest of the groupset being 6800 11speed?
I am trying to save some cash by only replacing the cassette, chain, FD, RD and shifters.

    Yes, works fine. As does the other way around.

    Though worth pointing out that you might be better off buying a full groupset and selling your old crankset. I got £80 for mine when I changed to 6800. The discount​ on getting a full groupset might offset that difference. Meant everything was new and matched and allowed me to get 52-36.

    I'll most likely just buy the complete groupset and sell on anything I don't need.
