Dirty fluid when bleeding Reverb

Thumb lever travel wasn't quite right so decided to bleed the Reverb Stealth last night. Bought it retail so had the bleed kit available with the proper Reverb oil (pink stuff).

My first plunge through saw black / greyish material coming through at the seatpost end, and after a few flushes through (some air did appear) the oil in the syringes at both end were a good deal muckier that I was expecting from watching the nice clean oil pass through on the SRAM youtube "how-to" video.

Is this normal / anything to be concerned about?

(Bleeding has solved the thumb travel, so all is good with those DIY skills anyway - it's a very easy bleed process).

Sounds about right. Get the nasty stuff out and the good stuff in. I'm sure they use a new post on the videos.
