I have a few cycling events I am doing this year, I would love to do this with some other people, or a group of other interested cycling companions....

Let me know if you're going to any of these cycling events, and we can chat about meeting up and possibly cycling together.

London Revolution
Surrey Cyclone
Lake 62 Aquabike
Keswick Mountain Festival

I'm up for any other cycling events too if anytime is looking for a cycling companion...

Feel free to contact me anytime 8)

Cheers,

Emily

Hello. Also might be worth checking for clubs local to where you live. You can find a directory on the British Cycling website.
  • Hey Emily

Not a bad shout putting something out there. Maybe a bit more info (within reason of course) could help? Eg, I wouldn't want to go on a long ride with a stranger who would belt along at 35kph when my average is 25..... so speed, age, experience, what type of riding you are in to (I assume road!) may help.

    Cheers

you might want to consider either adding a new topic or looking out for any existing posts in the tours, routes, audaxes and organised rides section of the forum to see who is attending and perhaps you might find someone sufficiently local to share transport or go on training rides too - viewforum.php?f=40077

  • Thanks for the advice everyone.

I am relatively new to cycling, I have done a 70km Brewin Dolphin Ridge sportive, an 80km cycle through Seven Oaks, and done a few Richmond park cycles as well.

I am 41, just turned on Friday :)
I travel at roughly 15-17mph on average
I cycle with a group in Clapham sometimes and a few friends, but have booked a number of sportives that no one else can either make or wishes to partake in, that's why I thought I'd post in here.

I am trying to get more climbing experience for a trip I have booked to do the Dolomites in August with a cycle group.

Will keep an eye on the listed events in this forum and join any cycle events that pop up.

Thanks again for the advice too.
