I've only bought my first MTB last week and its the Laura Trott from Halfords. Changed the saddle and got some stickers to cover up the 'purple' and man its great! Even the guys at Halfords were shocked at how good it was for what I paid for it!0

Thanks for the response but the Laura Trott is out of stock these sales move so fast at this time of year haha, so any outer suggestions and out of the bikes i'm looking at which would you say would be the best value for money.
Thanks0 -
Apparently not.. I've just checked and they have a size medium still available.

i see people saying to buy the laura trott bike but isnt it for a woman?0

Well yes and no, it's the same frame as the men's Carrera bikes, the only think genuinely female is the saddle, plus the purple colour parts aren't to everyone's taste, but it's such good value you would need to be really insecure in your own sexuality to consider that an issue!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

So change the saddle. Women ride men's bikes without getting hairy chests.
