Di2 wifi transmitter

Looking to add the transmitter to my 2013 bike mainly so I can update firmware etc as probably hasn't been done since new. The unit looks to cost around £75. Is that all I need? Does it need another wire? There seems to be 2 models. How do I know which one I need. My battery is on bottom of be if that helps not in seat tube. Also is it a simple task? Thanks for any replies
