Fake S-Works ?

Trying to find a new bike ( on a secondhand website ) I found a S-Works with ZIPP wheels with campagnolo chorus at only 800€ . Seems not expensive knowing it's a S-Works . Could it be fake ? ( anyone know how to recognise a fake S-Works ? )Or is it just that maybe the group sucks and i will have to remplace it ?

Could be stolen too. If it looks too cheap - don't risk it.

It could also be an old s-works Allez or very early tarmac in which case it could be gen

Looks like an older tarmac frame with old campag parts. Could be a standard tarmac thats been resprayed and had the s-works logo added after.
The zipps look fake though.

For a 5 or 6 year old bike depending on condition, would €800 be expected?

Nah. The seatstays are very different.

It doesn't look like a Specialized frame to me.

Look closely at the rear, it has wishbone chainstays and it looks like the drop outs are made of alloy which gives it some age if the rest of the frame is carbon. Modern'ish frames have full carbon drop outs.

I reckon its an early chinese open mould frame re-painted and re-badged.

I wouldn't respond to the advert if I was using someone else's cash.
