Ventured in to the world of full suss. Bought the Frame with shock off a forum user (thanks Mickus. Again, great to deal with you)
Frame came in good condition, with a hope headset and seatclamp installed. A quick going over with some decent polishing compound to take out the haze to the paint really let me appreciate the colour of it. Pictures really don't do it justice. In dim light its almost black but in direct sunlight it's a great shade of metallic greeny/gold.
Got some cheap wheels on offer from superstar. Might swap them off for a wider set i have on another bike if i can be bothered.
Haven't done much other than a ride to and from work, and about 15 miles along the canal to make sure nothing fell off.
The shock is going to need a service or changing for new as its weeping oil. I need to figure out which is going to be the better option; I don't have much knowledge yet about them. The tyres are also still weeping the tiniest bit of sealant through the plies after quite a while which is annoying as getting them to seat was fairly easy; i thought i'd cracked the whole tubeless thing on my first go.
