Hi guys, I have a Shimano hg80 slx 9sp on my mtb, the bottom 2 rings are worn and rather than getting a new cassette, was wondering if the 11t ring from a cs-m771 10sp would fit? Only thing I can think of is would it be narrower to allow for the extra ring on 10 sp? Cheers..

    I presume you mean sprockets?

No, the spacer is a different width (thinner) and it won't shift properly (the sprocket itself is the same thickness as the chains are the same width internally).
