Hi all, so my son has fooked his front maxle for his RS1's. Do I need to buy the exact same brand from Rockshox or can i use an alternative.
The model he has is:
RockShox Maxle Lite Ultimate 15mm thru Axle.
He did not realise how much they are.

Thanks

AIUI any 15mm axle that fits RS forks fits, its only the torque tube front hub that is unique to RS1.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

The maxle lite ultimate is expensive but I think it's a lot better than any of the cheaper options.
The standard 15mm maxle is a bit crap.
