had been considering some BAX wheels but reviews on here aren't brilliant. Then came across these which seem keenly priced.
Any feedback?
Thanks.

Which reviews on here of the Bax aren't brilliant? I couldn't find many. I did one, everyone's experience will be different. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Depends what you want them for - aero, weight or just cool looks. The PX stuff is generally pretty good in terms of quality/value, but £500 for wheels that weigh 1750/1800g may or may not be worthwhile in the sense that lighter wheels can be had for less.0

Just a word of caution on that width, as PX note. On my Supersix the 25mm wide Bax with 25mm tyres had very close clearance. I might struggle with 27mm wide wheels. So make sure you have clearance as a 27m wide with 23c tyres is probably defeating the point of width a littleMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

No its not , most P.X branded or re-branded stuff is cheap crap you will end up changing.
Just read the general subject discussed here , I have sent most PX shi~e back, no longer bother with them.0 -

That's not been my experience. At all. Some specifics might help justify your position?0 -

Lower end Novatec hubs, probably rebadged 161/162, generic Chinese carbon rims and Pillar thick bladed spokes... you can get more for less buying direct from China, but I suppose if you want a UK warranty and some deep section clinchers that don't cost the earth, they are on par with the others out there... they seem a bit less agricultural than the ZUUP or whatever they are called...
The decals are truly atrocious though...
There are at least 500 better ways to spend 500 quid though...left the forum March 20230 -
