Oval chain rings and chain wrap

Does anyone think you need to factor in running oval chain rings when calculating chain wrap and derauiler capacity? Part of me thinks yes as the oval adds two teeth at it's widest point, part of me thinks ignore as it's dynamic (literally 1/4 of a pedal stroke) and it averages to the same wrap as a round ring.

Thoughts?

    No.
The wrap is always pretty close to 180 degrees and therefore the same amount of teeth all the time (it never adds two more) there is a slight difference in chain length due to the angle change but its so small you can run an oval ring on a single speed bike.

Your overthinking it (especially with respect to that two teeth which I can't even figure how you think that happens!).
