Help please - Specialized Ariel vs Boardman Mx Comp

Hi all,
Hoping someone can help as trying to compare bikes across different manufacturers is proving very difficult.
I'm trying to find a bike for my wife to use as a leisure bike riding through parks and tracks with the kids.
I think I've narrowed it to a hybrid with front suspension forks to provide versatility and specifically eithe the specilIzed Ariel disc or the boardman mx comp.
Which is the better bike? Any help gratefully received.

Yep, for that use, the Trott bike is a complete no brainer and way, way, way better than either of the two you're looking at.2015 Canyon Nerve AL 6.0 (son #1's)
