I can almost see the Sun.

'Working' from home. Might follow Lincoln Dave's example later. Need to check that my legs still work after Saturday's exertion.

Shoot sleep. Slow day resulted. No bikes involved, just a long walk with cafe break, followed by a nap on the sofa. Paperwork for a few hours, then to make things worse, a wine-free dinner. Erk.

Back to the asylum tomorrow. At least this will be the second short week of three in a row. 6 more weeks of this project to go...

    Morning all,
Fairly slow start was had followed by nagging the kids to do some school work. Well, mainly the female version, the lad is remarkably good at getting on with it himself. Need to get stuff sorted ready for the return to the hamster wheel tomorrow before a late lunch at my folks' place.

Slow ride with a mate putting the world to rights, fettling to do, crash and veg out with the better half and watch a film. Later is cooking and a bottle of red will be enjoyed.

    Af'noon evelybody peeps

Work delayed to to quick trip to casualty.

    [Explain history]
Doc: "Have you had this before?"
"Yep. Usually treated with Ofloxacin and i'm due at the eye specialist Friday"
"Are you sure there's no foreign body in it?"
"Yep. It's been bathed multiple times and I cannot feel or see any material"
"Right, better sort you a prescription out before the pharmacy closes early"
    "Brilliant. Thank you. Bye"

The last thing you need is some over zealous plonker who knows less than you about your own condition and wants to check everything.

I can see now, so time to get back on with it. Tomorrow epic pedalling; f*ck 'em. Girls are back at school/nursery and I can start recovering from the holiday.

Get some Gilbert legs (twin pack) Gazza. You know it makes sense.

    Laters.

Busy day today catching up with mundane stuff and researching stuff I'd rather not be researching. Will head into work tomorrow to hand over some stuff and have a word with the boss and the team before I head North again.
