Cleaning dirty oil off a matt carbon frame
I've got a matt red carbon Canyon Endurace and it's a bugger to keep clean. I wish I'd got the stealth black but the red looks gorgeous when clean.
The biggest problem is oil/lube/grease etc. Any of the black oily stuff gets on the frame and it's difficult to get rid off. Smears around but never seems to go.
Any tips on what to use?

On the wipes.... I've been using Muc Off workshop wipes which I assume are stronger. All they seem to do is smear the gunk.0

Try a rag soaked in white spirit - that should take up grease/oil etc. Follow up with a clean lint free cloth0

Anything with a solvent base will clean it.0

I use Red And Matt Frame Cleaner and protector on mine. Always got rid of any oily mark no problem on my matt black/red Giant Propel.0

Muc-off disc brake cleaner does the job nicely.2011 Canyon XC 8.0 (Monza Race Red)

White vinegar in a spray bottle, dissolves the oil and leaves the frame matt. I used if for years on a matt specialized Carbon frame.0
