I've recently purchased a cannondale caadx 105. I want to add a pannier rack for a tour I'm going on but I need a mount of some kind, such as pictured here:

The description suggests it's a seat stay bridge, but I can can't seem to find anywhere to purchase such an item? Any ideas?

That's a mudguard mount, it won't let you fit panniers.

For panniers, you need a mounting point down by the dropout (this will be a threaded hole above the axle) and another mounting point at the top of the seatstay near the seat tube, which is normally another threaded hole in the side of each seat stay. If you don't have the top set of holes on your frame, then you can use p-clips instead.
  • that sounds exactly like what i need - thanks!

You can also get a seatpost clamp that has threads for mounting a pannier rack.
