    Erm, no, I like to be able to ride at over 10mph!
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    You're going to run out of gears rather quickly with just a 26 or 28t ring to play with.

    Depends on the application and whether it's speed or climbing that's your priority.
    For the child's bike I'm putting together, one of them will be ideal and better than the 26T Shimano one we're using now.
