Hi All.
Swapping my rear disc on my trance for 180mm, all fitted and working OK but looking at the pads at the rear of the calliper the pad material is slightly above the disc ( at the front it looks spot on )I would say it's approx. 0.5mm to just under a 1mm is this OK ?
Or can I machine the back of the brake adaptor and see if it drops the rear to the correct height, or is this going to upset the fit of the adaptor/calliper , anyone done this or am I worrying about nothing ?

When I swapped from Avid to Shimano I have similar problem. On the rear I added a washed to side the calliper and on the front I filed down the adapter so that the pads sat central on the disc, that was 2 years ago, no issues.0

JGTR thanks for the reply, took around a 1mm off and it sits a lot better.0
