After running my Arkose as single speed since new, my knees are starting to suggest converting it to geared
It has TRP Hylex brakes which are brilliant, so want to use a SRAM tt-type rear shifter, fitted to the end of the drops. I was happy to go 10 speed given there's a variety of Sram MTB long cage rear Derailleurs about for not much money, and note I need an "Exact Actuation" system to ensure compatibility. Trouble is, the 10 speed bar end shifter seems quite a rarity these days, especially as I only want one. I can find an 11 speed one for a decent price, but will this work ok with a 10 speed RD and cassette? Dont seem to be any 11sp Exact Actuation mechs out there that will take a large range cassette.

The Apex 1 11 speed mech will work on an 11-42 cassette. So will the longer Rival 1 and Force 1 mechs.

Thanks. A quick Google revealed this:
Compatibility: 10-speed and 11-speed SRAM 1x™ road systems
    Cage Sizes: Long
    Max Tooth: 42t
    Pulleys: Sealed cartridge bearings
    Pull: EXACT ACTUATION™

So would presumably work with an 11sp Exact Actuation rear TT shifter. Sweet....
