Dear all
I am buying a new MTB. I have a budget of around 1400 EUR, for which I have chosen a hardtail with better equipment, rather than very basic FSP. I plan to ride it uphill (tarmac, gravel), woods, pathways, as I live next to a quite large hills with lots of woods and pathways.
Firstly, I would appreciate your comment here (HT/FSP).
I am looking at this two:
1. https://www.scott-sports.com/us/en/prod ... e-945-Bike (price 1399 EUR)
2. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/men/b ... ail/115227 (price 1320EUR)
I like Scott, with 1x11 and FOX fork, but think Epic would last longer?
I am not sure about geometric of both, as I have very limited experience here and no real advice available.
I am 192cm tall (6.3") with quite long arms and legs.
Any comment or suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Thank you!

Same spec for less or better spec for the same money, take your pic.
Why do you think the Epic will last longer?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Unfortunately, where I live Decathlon is not present.
As for the other part durability - impression from user experiences was that Specialized are very well build. I am not in a position to judge, therefore I wanted some opinions from users that have more experience here.0
