office, but i think i'll bail early
really ought to prep for t'punters, but it's more exciting to wing it, and with the time saved i could service the bb between cafe breaks, i suspect the many months of sogginess have removed most of the grease, want to get it done ready for the long weekend

Ciao
Glorious day but house infected with other people's brats. Oh well, they leave later today so only a matter of hours.
Will go into the garage for a bit in a few minutes just for some quiet and peace.
Ciao for now.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

I'm off to Jersey for a few days, fly around mid-day. Better start washing some clothes to take .
See you on Friday, be good.
The older I get, the better I was.0 -
Morning folks,
Nice and sunny here this morning, bit fresh though. Struggled to get going after a poor night's kip so was running a bit late and had to drive in. Hardly anyone out on the roads, anyone would think half the population has skipped the country. Might be busy today, I've already had 4 calls from pesky retail customers and we're not even open yet. Hopefully they will stop bothering me now the others have turned their phones on.0 -
Thread title is a mystery but reminds me of..
"To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women!"
Boring slightly chilly day work after a glorious weekend. Drinky poos after work.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -
I suspect the missing half of the population will be in bed hungover a solid weekend of BBQing.
Fortunatly none of my lot have bailed so minimegacorp is running on full steam.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
Monday meh
Wanted an ease into the week and ended up at full pace straight away. Got a feeling this 4 day week is going to feel longer0 -
Mongay, Car greeted me this morning with a total lack of power steering so I'm slowly going to develop hulk arms at this rate. That's now booked in for Thursday so no doubt I wont see it till next month.
Other than that all is well, new coffee machine does exactly the same range as before but in a cup 1/4 size for more money, inflation eh.
Other than that nothing to report0 -
They've gone! They've gone! Huzzah! Huzzah!
And new bb has turned up for the cx bike. 1 day from Merlin.
CRC couldn't even dribble on themselves in a day. 2 months later I'm still waiting for LBS to call me so I can give them some money.
Merlin rocks.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

The studio has windows, with glass an' all!
Spent the day cementing over lime render, seems to stick fine, no horse hair required, now just needs to dry, I think 25c overnight will do it, should be able to paint it tomorrow.
Then, Wahey! The weekend starts heremy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -

Cement render - impermeable.
Lime render - permeable.

My ex in Stockholm works for a Legal firm that oversaw the takeover of a Swedish company by Lactalis.

Long trek back down South after care home and hospital visits and sorting stuff out house related stuff with local friends. Bit knackered, only have to sign off the group tax numbers tomorrow, need that like a hole in the head.
