This is my first road bike.
I'm wondering if the position of the bars and lever look correct?
Thanks.

Position is more a factor of you being comfortable on the bike - not how cool the bike looks without you on it...0
-
Is the saddle comfy like that ? Seems to be sloping down a lot ?0
-
Yeah - bottom of the bars are horizontal so it means they are level.
Levers look fine if comfy for you but a tad high for me but we're all different. Any higher would be a no - no. In fact, you could probably bring them down a tad and sharpen/close up position without losing any comfort.
Agree with post above re saddle nose.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Thanks.
All my saddled have to be like that or it hurts my parts.
I found the brake levers hard to operate while on top of the hoods so was wondering if the position looked correct.0 -
Bung it on the turbo and then take a picTrainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Although Imposter has posted in his usual sardonic tone he is right to imply that we need to see you on the bike to comment properly - and even then a static posed picture isn't as good as observing you riding on the road. A video link of you riding on a turbo is probably an OK compromise - although that still leaves you open to the vagaries of the opinions of a bunch of tw4ts on the internetFFS! Harden up and grow a pair0

Sore todger is more likely to be down to the fore/aft or the actual saddle itself rather than nose position - I'd try levelling it out and moving it rather than having nose down. Looks quite far on the rails.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Yeah, it looks quite far back to me - further forward and level would take the pressure off.I'm left handed, if that matters.0

Thanks, I've moved the saddle forward and up at the front a bit and it seems better.0
