Hello, guys. Is a taking gravel bike frame for 28-32mm slick tyres a good idea? I want a frame with:
1) Thru axles rear and front.
2) Endurance geometry.
3) Carbon frame and fork.
4) Mudguards with 32mm tyres installation capability.
5) Disk brakes.
I don't know what frame to choose. I found two frames:
1) Gravel frame. I like one from planetx. it has a huge clearance for 40c knobby tyres. But I don't do offroad. My setup will be for urban, commuter, all-day, endurance, touring, non-hispeed rides.
I think, my main tyres will be 32c Vittoria Voyager Hyper. Maybe I'll try 35c, but I don't know, I'm not a heavy rider (60kg). And for testing 28c I got Conti GP400SII.
2) Road frame. I fount only "Cube Agree C:62 Race Disc" from bike-discount. But looks like it handles maximum 28c tyres and without mudguards.
My budget is about $800 for frameset.
