Seriously , is that it. as good as it gets. It looks like a donkeys ass. Okay I ve never ridden one , but why would I want to.

All this current marketing Bollix on discs. Gravel Bikes wide tyres. Surely this is just a case of the tail wagging the dog.

is this really the best bike 2017 can offer?????????

    No surprise really - although the lower spec. Specialized did not review as well uniformly like previous winners. I guess it was time for Specialized to win - both them and cycling plus with a nice advertising revenue stream from Specialized will be happy. The reviews from Cycling Plus are not consistent, full of pretentious hyperbole and bias. BTR on this site is a much better reviewer than the likes of Rossiter and Robertshaw.
    Cycling plus should get some of the posters on here to review the bikes - the reviewers could be nominated/picked out from a draw. Whatever way the posters are chosen - I am fairly certain they would do a better job.

    You understand the logic of the CAAD 12 winning given price and performance but Gravel bikes are a much smaller market than MTB and Road bikes. I think these awards should be given at the end of the year based on at least 1 season's use.
