Specialized Rockhopper expert / comp

Hi guys, I'm looking to get back into cycling and wanting to get a 29er.

Does the Specialized Rockhopper expert / comp strike anyone as a particularly good or bad bike. And which of the two gets more bang for the price?

I'm 6'4, 122kg, and wanting to do general riding - nothing particular in mind, if that is important in choosing a bike.

They are very good bikes, but as with all Specialized you can get more for your money if you shop around.
