A bit of info for others owning BB6200 cranksets who also bemoan the expensive (£40) and short lived BBs.
Although the crank is not compatible with a road HT2 BB it is compatible with an MTB HT2 providing you use the road plastic joining tube. This is because the MTB bearing shells are 1mm shallower.
