Ultegra 6600 crankset 11 speed compatibility

Hello!
I upgraded my groupset to 6800, the only thing that I did not find anywhere is a perfect 11sp crankset.
Is the older 10sp Ultegra crankset compatible with the new system?
I know that the chainrings are closer to each other and a little bit thinner on the new systems, but can I use the old one until I find something or should I be more patient?
Thank you in advance!

A store bought Ultegra crank is a bit pricey for me, so I try to find one used (or one that is in the same range), but where I live I do not find a lot.0 -

I bought on an internet retailer's ex-display clearance department - perfect condition, £60. Deal.
Just look around - never ever buy anything like that from a shop unless you are minted.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

It's not 'best practice' but I have used a 6800 crankset with a 5700 groupset, and vice Versa before.0
