I have a 2011 Speciaized Secteur Elite 2011 running SRAM Apex, the ratio of front and rear is the same so I'm ok there. I have a near complete spare 105 5800 setup and would like to double check a couple of things because I start the swap-over. It's the items marked ?? I would appreciate some conformation on.

Shimano 105 5800 STI levers
Shimano 105 5800 Band-On Front Derailleur 34.9mm ??
Shimano BB-R60 Ultegra 6800/105 5800 Hollowtech ii (English thread) ??
Shimano 105 5800 11 Speed Cassette 11/32 -
Shimano 105 5800 11 Speed Chain (116 Links)
Shimano 105 5800 11/32 (11sp) and 50/32
Shimano 105 5800 rear mech (GS)

Thanks

Your ?? marked items will be fine

As far as I can establish the 2011 Elite had a band on SRAM Apex FD so your 105 5800 band on will fit OK. If your worried about the correct diameter for your seat tube then if you buy a properly boxed FD 105 5800 then that will come with rubber shims included to suit either 31.8mm or 34.9mm diameter with the shims removed.

The frame has a standard English threaded bottom bracket so your BB-R60 will also be fine. Your existing BB may be square taper so you need to consider getting the correct tools to remove that and also a tool to install the BB-R60 which will be different.

The seat tube is 31.8mm, so you will either need a shim or the smaller diameter band on front mech

I've ordered the one which comes with the shims. :D
