I am looking for a replacement road frameset in carbon. Any recommendations other than ebay and gumtree ?

Do you promise tha if you find one you then won't put up lots of posts saying "I found a scratch on my second hand frameset will I get ebolaids and die?"Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

What's so bad with ebay? I picked up a lovely focus cayo frameset recently, and am very happy with it.0

Keep a check on the Paul Milnes website

Not classic "second hand" but many of the frames he offers have been acquired as complete bikes then stripped down.
Not sure what your budget is but there are currently two colour offerings of Paul Milnes branded frames for £750

I have bought two frames from them in the past and can't fault them for service and quality.
They do advertise fairly widely on Ebay but if you call them directly you can probably negotiate a discount to reflect the absence of Ebay charges. They may also throw in extras like headset bearings, BB's etc.0 -
The often zany prices mediocre second hand framesets go for on Ebay you'd be better off waiting for the next Planet X blowout sale or buying a Velobuild/Hong Fu/Deng Fu type deal. Bargains to be had in Facebook cycling club classifieds as well.0

the sellers on ebay don't seem to realise that a four year old carbon frame should be discounted because a bike ridden is bike crashed...
any experience with velobuild ? positive or negative ? I like the look of r55Ridley Fenix SL0 -
