Advice needed on new bike??

Hi all, first post, I'm after a new bike, thinking I'd like to try a plus bike, the 2017 Scott spark 710 plus in a xl frame is the way I'm leaning, but then I've be hearing good things about the yt jeffsy 29er in carbon, just to make it even more difficult the trek stache 9.6 has caught my eye, anyone out there who's got one of these or both and shed some light?? I mainly do single track and Bedgbury forest and Surrey hills, and think the jeffsy might be a bit to much for what I do, I know their totally different bikes, but any help would be appreciated.

    Have you tried contacting the manufactures to see if there are any trial days near you where you can trey out bikes?

    I quite fancy trying a + bike myself but couldn't justify having another bike.
