BB upgrade

Hi Community! I have a 2012 Trek fuel ex8. I just got the bike and its in near mint condition. I went over the bike and needs some really minor work. The bike has some play in the BB and I am thinking it needs New bearings and would like to upgrade will I'm there. Any ideas on size? oh and options too!? Thank you

    You need to tell us what is already fitted before any advice can be given on changes or upgrades.

    What's in the bike at the minute bsa screw threaded or press fit?

    Edit - looked up bike spec and appears to come with standard a shimano m552 crankset which use hollowtech 2 bb.

    So any hollowtech 2 bb for 68/73mm should work but just double check before buying.
