Does anyone know where I could get a decent pair of bib shorts for £50 in SW/Central London today?
I've been to 2 LBS, my local Evans Cycles, and Cycle Surgery in Victoria and they all have an appalling selection... usually 2 different shorts, priced at £80+

Near to Liverpool Street there is a fair selection.
There is Cycle Surgery and a decent sized Evans store in Spitalfields. There's also a Cycle Republic on Fenchurch Street.
Spitalfields might be the best bet as there are another couple of stores close by - and there's also a Rapha store there as well (out of budget but you could pop in for a coffee and watch the cycling on the TV)

Thanks, I'll see what there is around Liverpool Street & Spitalfields. I'll be fairly close to Holborn as well - do you know how Condor are for clothing?

Condor are pretty good but you may struggle with a £50 budget. They stock some of the mid to high range products, where you may be better looking is Cycle Republic as they always seem to have sale clothing. Pretty sure there is one close to Holborn Tube.

Condor are decent, their own bibs come in at around £60 and look well made. They also usually have some stuff on sale etc as well. And those bikes, oh my!
    RIP commute...
Sometimes seen bimbling around on a purple Fratello Disc or black and red Aprire Vincenza.

Unfortunately most shops have very limited choice in store. IMO I think it's better and cheaper to choose online. If you don't like or it doesn't fit send it back, most reputable cycle stores offer free returns!
