Hi

I have a 2014 cannondale Synapse 105 disc which in on need of a new headset. I thought this would be straight forward as online it says it's a 1 1/8 tapered headset. However when going to a local bike shop they were unsure on sizing, so I contacted an online bike shop but they told me the bike is not tapered.

Any ideas as I'm not stuck on what to do next.

Thanks

The 2017 model has a 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" tapered steerer tube, according to the Cannondale website, can't you check the Bike archive section to find out if your 2014 bike is the same?
