Anyone ever used Carbon Bike Technics for paintwork?

I know their carbon repair work is first class but anyone able to vouch for the quality of their paintwork? I'm thinking of having a frame refurbished and a complete re-spray. Satin black, possibly a few coloured highlights forks and stays and the usual brand lettering on the main tubes. lettering to be painted not stickers. Anyone?

  • Can't vouch for them, but I'd be tempted to have the respray done at a dedicated sprayshop as opposed to a repair outfit. The repair shops will probably send your frame to their preferred spray shop which may...or may not be decent. I had a frame repaired by another carbon repair specialist, and while the repair seems absolutely fine, their respray left a lot to be desired. I'm now waiting to have it re-sprayed at another outfit (Kustomflow).

There was a thread about this recently:

I know that Carbon Bike Tech do their paintwork in house. Not look for anything too complicated, single colour for the frame/forks and a small amount of detailing. Lettering needs to be good.

Some of the Fat Creation work is fantastic, works of art, but that's not what I'm after. The frame doesn't warrant that kind of expense.
