    Someone else mentioned this to me and it would make sense. I am managing to just about achieve the speeds and averages I did on my old bike, which only ever had budget wheels, but the cost of aching quads, noticeablly more than usual and not just for a few days either - each ride is hurting the next day. I cover a fair distance and am not used to these frequent deep aches. That said its all great training got when I get my decent bike out, hopefully.
