Just wondering what was the general opinion is on these 2 manufacturers. I'm looking at getting my first road bike and narrowed it down to giant contend sl1 and the cube attain sl. Anyone bought any of these and have any feedback good or bad. Thanks

  • Probably can't go wrong with either, but I'd check out the Cube Attain GTC Pro Disc also. Similar price and if you're a size 56 or larger, Rutland Cycles still have stock. You get the carbon frame, 105 and hydraulic disc. I got one for winter trainer and you won't get more bike for the £££
  • I bought Cube Attain GTC Pro Disc for £1,000 - my first road bike and I'm v pleased with it

I've also got one of these & love it. Although I didn't buy it from them the fact that my LBS stocks a lot of Cube bikes influenced my purchase as I'd be taking it there for any maintenance that's beyond me
