Hope PF46 pressfit BB on BBRight shell
The threaded (together) Hope BB comes in various widths, anyone had any experience of using one on a BBRight road BB shell? The BB shell is 79mm according to the website but Hope's nearest to that is 83mm. Would that mean it can just be screwed in further?
Thanks for any info.

I have a cervelo s5 BBright so I can comment on this quite well.
Here is a drawing of a BBright Shell

The problem you might find is the flange on the non drive side sticks out too far. Looking at the Hope photo, it looks to be at least 1.5mm thick. Assuming you have a crank with a 90mm axle, you will be 1.5mm further in on the drive side OR it won't fit at all.0 -
Interesting thanks. I have a SRAM Force 22 BB30 chainset which seems to have about a 105mm spindle length. I gather this is a little longer than "normal" BB30 cranks and the internets seem to think that the Force 22 is a bit of an oddity in the SRAM range in this regard. Very confused!0

i spoke to hope about this a while ago. the problem is that the bbright shell is wider on the non-drive side so the hope bb will not work.
if the spindle is wide enough, this might work

If you have an axle that is wider than 79mm, then a BBright to 386EVO BB should do the trick.
I know the later BB30 Sram axles were actually designed for a 386EVO BB, they had spacers in them to compensate for standard BB30/PF300
