Tire recommendations

I have a Kona Jake The Snake. I want to change my cyclocross tire to a road tire. I would like to have some suggestions. I would favor durability and reliability over speed. I don't want to be bothered by flats. Would I need to change the tube as well? If so, another recommendation would be needed.

Currently my front and back tire are both Maxxis Mud Wrestler 700x35C Kevlar.

Thanks

MrsHD has a Trek 29er MTB and runs 32mm Continental Gatorskinz on the road.
    Advocate of disc brakes.

You are in the wrong section. Try Road Buying Advice. It is also more popular.

Have a look at Vittoria Randonneur Pros. Very robust and reliable. Haven't punctured them in two winters' worth of use including some off roading.

Continental Gatorskin 28 on the back and a Continental GP4000S2 28 on the front. Check on your current tubes to see if they have a narrow enough range to suit the new tires.

Much prefer them over my Randonneur Pro 35s, had no fairy visits with either, but the Cross roll really well on the road.

Schwalbe Durano in 32mm - £16 and pretty good on both fronts.

Spa have narrower sizes too but I can't see any advantages for you to do that.
Aspire not to have more, but to be more.

Thanks all for posting back, I appreciate it. Thinking of going with the Continential.
