Rear Disc Brake Mount

Hello,
I have a carbon hardtail bought somewhere from a china supplier about 2 years back. Recently, I have decided to try building my first mtb and everything went fine until I reach the part where I have to mount the rear disc brake. I'm sure it is a 74mm post mount but it is not threaded. It has another hole perpendicular to where the brake is supposed to be mounted.
Any idea how do I install this?

Looks like you need some barrel shaped inserts. They'll be threaded through the barrel.I don't do smileys.

Called barrel nuts or cross dowel nuts.
I think Whyte might use a similar system. I used to have a bike with them but can't remember the make offhand.I don't do smileys.

Remember now, it was an old Turner. Looks like the new ones still use the same system.

Page down a bit and you'll see the brake mount. It meant if you stripped anything it was a cheap insert, not the frame.I don't do smileys.
