bottom bracket, don't know what i need
Hi Guys,
I ordered a TT frame.
Ordered some components. New Shimano DA crankset.
Now... after reading and searching a lot, i don't know exactly what Bottom Bracket I need.
I got an image from the frame builder (yes Chinese) see link below.
386 EVO
-Do i need a 'standard' FSA bottom bracket. like a regular Shimano DA bottom bracket with adapters (to EVO 386?)
-Do i need no adapters at all?
-Can i buy a bottom bracket that already has 'standard' the EVO 386 size?

Standard 386EVO BB takes a crank with a 30mm axle. Shimano uses 24mm axle. You can get adapters to use the 24mm axle in a 30mm BB (eg http://wheelsmfg.com/386evo-adapter-for-shimano-cranks.html), or you can get BBs for 386EVO that take a 24mm axle directly (eg https://www.bike24.com/p2108249.html).0

Personally, I wouldn't put a steel bottom bracket into a BB386 carbon frame, I'd suggest you get something made out of nylon or delrin.
Unlike other bottom brackets where the bearing is outboard of the frame, in BB386, it is fully constrained so you will have two lots of steel (bearing and BB) providing the interference.0
