Can I use a hybrid on the trails? Boardman MX Sport

Have recently been using my boardman mx sport for commuting and leisure but have been starting to enjoy more and more when I take it off road through wooded path area and getting it a bit dirty, I now want to do more of the off stuff,
Would this bike stand up to what trails at glen tress would have to offer?

    I can use my cross bike on some trails.

    Your question is specifically about Glentress though - so you'd be better off posting that in the title.

    A lot depends on how you ride too.
