Nice to be Rid of the Junction A.....

Finally managed to get all the Di2 cables through the handlebars in the right places to get rid of the ugly Junction B.
Now have the RS910 in the handlebar end. So much cleaner, I guess this is how they should have done it in the first place. Just one wire visible for 10cm, that's it.
If anyone needs help doing it, I've done an explanatory video.

Is it called 'eTAP'?I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

Thanks for that. Aeronova Team all clear to run the cables?
And I think you need the bluetooth battery as a minimum to use the new bar end? Do you need d-fly as well?0 -
Can you buy the box seperatly and is it compatible with the older shifters??0

A. That's junction A you've replaced. B is the internal one somewhere in the downtube or in the BB.0

I seem to have a weird effect around wireless stuff that stops them working, so I think I'll stick to wired thanks!!0 -

My bar is an Aeronova LTD, but the Team probably comes out of the same mould, so you should be fine.
You do need the new battery to get Bluetooth, and Synchro Shifting, but I don't think you need it to have the RS910. As far as I know, the RS910 doesn't do anything more than the old Junction A, it's just in a different place. And no, Dfly is not a requirement, it's optional.0 -

Thanks, i see an online order in my imminent future...0 -
Okay that is pretty darn ace! I've always looked at that under-stem junction box as a bit of an after thought. Not sure I'll go to the effort of replacing the components to hide it in the bar end, but very cool setup and I like it a lot!0

There is another option if you're handy with a Dremel and confident in the strength of your frame....
....cut a 25mm(?) circle in your downtube and put the RS910 in there - you get a kit to do just that in the box, (the mount) but probably better if you let the manufacturers do it for you...!0 -
What garmin mount do people recommend for Aeronova bars?I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

Garmin!
I hired a bike recently that had one of those fixed to the stem, as opposed to a k-edge or similar.
Neither were Garmin.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
Aeronova's are fine though, they have a round section near the stem just like any other bar, so you can use normal Garmin mounts. That's one of the reasons I like them so much.0
